SSAT Score Requirements Depend On The School
It’s unfortunately not easy to say what SSAT score you need to aim for. Score requirements vary based on school and grade level.
Score requirements vary based on many factors. If you have high grades, your score doesn’t have to be as high. If you are an athlete, schools may be fine with a somewhat lower score. Excellent extra-curricular activities can make up for a lower score.
If the rest of your application is less strong, you’ll need a higher score.
The best thing to do is contact your schools of choice and ask what score they’re looking for. You can find schools on the SSAT website:

Admission depends on a ton of factors. That said, I had a student who got your EXACT score and was admitted to Deerfield. You can read his story here:

A lot of other factors are relevant to admissions. Grades, athletics, extra-curriculars. My student had great marks and is a star athlete, so those helped. 2175 is a pretty good score, but I expect it was the other factors that got him admitted. If your grades are quite good, I think you’ve got a good chance of admission. Best thing is to ask the school.
